Hopeman is a most attractive, family-friendly village featuring white sandy beaches; a marina set within a traditional harbour; a panoramic 18 hole golf course; a welcoming bowling club; a magnificent skatepark; and stunning coastal walks including a wheelchair accessible path which links Hopeman to Burghead.  Visitors may also be thrilled to catch sight of the famous Moray Firth dolphins.


Village commercial facilities include a comfortable hotel and restaurant, a grocery store, a cafe and several fast-food outlets, a hairdressing salon, and several shops, bars and local services.

Nearby Day Trips


Nearby lies the town of Elgin and the magnificent ruins of Elgin Cathedral.  


Spynie Palace and Duffus Castle lie within the vicinity whilst a little further afield are Cawdor Castle, Fort George and Culloden Battlefield.  The Cairngorm National Park is on the doorstep.  


Walkers, golfers and whisky enthusiasts will always find plenty to attract them to this unspoilt corner of Scotland.
